Getting to Macau

There is a  direct ferry service to Macau which operates from Hong Kong International Airport - journey time 45 minutes.  If you travel into Hong Kong, there is another high speed ferry  - journey 55 minutes - leaving at intervals of 15 minutes during the daytime, and at up to 90 minute intervals at dead of night.  (Take the MTR to Sheung Wan station - 45 minutes minimum, HK$100 - and use exit D).

If you can get a flight direct to Macau, then there will be less travelling, and at lower cost, than going through Hong Kong. However, there are only direct flights to Macau by the following airlines:

Air Macau Co.Ltd.
Air China
China Eastern Airlines
East Asia Airlines
Eva Airways
JetAsia
Transasia Airways
Shanghai Airlines
Singapore Airlines Cargo
SilkAir
Xiamen Airlines

Alternatively, you can fly to one of the adjoining airports in the Pearl River Delta - Guangzhou, Shenzhen or Zhuhai - and the travel overland or by ferry from them to Macau.

The Conference will be held at the University of Macau, on Taipa Island. This is close to the airport and also a short ride by taxi from the Ferry Terminal.
