Aims
Introduction
A total of 92 students have successfully completed EE Student Ambassador Scheme since its launch in 2006. Amongst them, 70 are appointed as the Senior Student Ambassadors of the Department. In view of the positive feedback and its good reputation, the Department continues to put the scheme high on our year plan. 15 EE potential leaders have been selected to undergo a series of training on leadership and teambuilding, presentation skills, communication skills, self-leadership and confidence, business etiquette, etc. in 2012. Training services are provided by Student Development Services, EE Department as well as external professional training body.
To put learnt knowledge into practice, students are divided into working groups for various activities, namely Adventure Camp, Interflow Tour, Staff-Student Gatherings and High Table Dinner. Throughout the event organizing and management process, students are expected to achieve certain goals pre-set by the department. The past experience demonstrates that the Student Ambassador Scheme not only helps enhance students' sense of belonging to the department, but also nurtures a service culture among the students.
