The programme aims at exposing you
to the latest developments in computer and information technology,
in addition to the theoretical aspects of both hardware and software.
The primary goal is to produce engineers who possess the skills
necessary for the design and implementation of computer, multimedia,
Internet and mobile related systems. You will be prepared for
employment in a wide range of economic sectors mainly in technology,
but also in business, banking, finance, and trading in Hong Kong
and the Asia-Pacific region.
With the rapid development in computer technology and multimedia applications, students will find ample opportunities in both hardware and software development positions for IT products and services. Potential employers include computer product development companies, software and system solutions companies, banks, finance and insurance companies, and the Hong Kong Government.
