Brief Biography

Albert Chi-Wan Sung received his B.Eng, M.Phil and Ph.D in Information Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1993, 1995 and 1998 respectively.

He worked in the Chinese University of Hong Kong as an Assistant Professor from 1998 to 1999. He joined City University of Hong Kong in 2000, and is now an Associate Professor of the Department of Electronic Engineering. He is also with the Institute of Network Coding, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Since September of 2009, he has been an editor of the ETRI journal.

His research interests include wireless communications, network coding, information theory, and design and analysis of algorithms.
