ANGUS WU
Dr. Wu received his Bachelor of Science (summa cum laude) and Master of Science, both in electrical engineering, from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA, in 1985 and 1987, respectively, and his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University , Pullman, Washington, USA, in 1994. Before joining the Department of Electronic Engineering at City University of Hong Kong, Dr Wu worked for the National Science Foundation Industry University Cooperate Research Center for Design of Analog Digital Integrated Circuits (CDADIC) at Washington State University, Pullman, Washington, USA since 1988. Currently, Dr. Wu is an Assistant Professor in the Department where he teaches EE courses and conducts research in VLSI Design and Intelligent Systems. Dr. Wu has actively involved in setting up the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Laboratory of the Department that including value of over HKD 92 millions donations from worldwide industries. He has been serving as the Deputy Director of the EDA Laboratory of the Department after joing the Department. Dr. Wu is the co-founder and technical consultant of the EDA Service
Centre at City University of Hong Kong set up with a grant of HKD 3.2 millions
through the Industry Support Fund from The Industry Department of Hong
Kong Government to provide services and consultants to the electronic Industries
