Apr 22, 2009 (Wed) --- Exam format: Q1 (25 marks) is COMPULSORY which is about fuzzy, Q2 - Q5 (25 marks each) are about neural networks, choose any 3. Time allowed: 2 hours.
Mar 18, 2009 (Wed) --- The assignment sheet is updated to (1) specify the momentum constant is fixed at 0.6, and (2)
clarify that no bias means no -1 input to all the neurons. These two updated parts are underlined while other parts remain
unchanged.
Mar 12, 2009 (Thu) --- The test is scheduled on March 24, 2009 (Week 10, Tuesday) 6:45 - 8:30 p.m. No lecture or tutorial before and after the test. The syllabus is from the first lecture up to and include Chapter 6 (Self-Organizing Map).
Feb 27, 2009 (Fri) --- The assignment has been announced. Due Date: Mar 31, 2009 (Week 11, Tuesday).
Jan 9, 2009 (Fri) --- First Lecture: Jan 13, 2009 (Tue) 6:30 - 8:20 p.m. LT4. No Tutorial in Week 1.
