Kong, China EMC Hong Kong Chapter is a co-organizer of Asia Pacific Microwave Conference 2008 Hong Kong. The conference was held from 16-19 December in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and then moved over, for 19-20 December 2008, to the Venetian Macau Resort Hotel in Macau. The conference has attracted more than 1000 delegates and over 900 technical papers, posters, distinguished lectures and short courses. An EMC short course entitled “Fundamentals Concepts of Signal Integrity and EMC Related to Printed Circuit Boards” presented by Mark I. Montrose with more than 20 participants has also been successfully completed in the first day of the conference. John Norgard, the Vice President of Technical Services, has also presented an opening speech on behalf of IEEE EMC Society, which is the technical Co-sponsorship of the conference.
