Detail Features


This software suite is including two parts which runs on your PC and your mobile phone.

The client software on mobile phone gets the position information from GPS receiver via Bluetooth or integrated one
and then displays the current position on the map image (jpg format) according to the received position data.
Besides, the position data is send to the designated server in every specified time interval via GPRS / 3G.
On other hand, users can get locations of all the rest of users who inside the same server (request on demand) via
GPRS / 3G. The location of the other user will be display on screen (map image) after selected the certain user.

The server software on desktop accepts multiple incoming traffic (max. 10) and processes incoming traffic individually.
The processed information will be displayed on the server's map and upload those information to the designated web
server with the GoogleMaps service (optional). Besides, when the server receives the node's position data, it compares
with that node's past position data (optional). If the location of that node remains the same after a designated period,
then the server will instruct its attached mobile phone to send out alert SMS to the emergency contact person.

Use Your own Maps(click for more info)
 
You need to use the Server program to calibrate the map image and create the set files for the mobile client first.
Then pack the set of files into the jar file and install it on phone. For detail, please look on the manual.
   

Real Time Positioning (Moving Map)
 
In GPS mode, the mobile phone screen always focus on your currrent position (the red dot).
   

Free scroll without GPS
 
You can treat it as a simple map on mobile phone without using GPS device. Scroll the map on large
scale first, and then switch into small scale to check out your preferred area.
   

Query the rest people' locations
 


You can query the location of all other people who are inside the same server on your mobile phone via GPRS / 3G.
   

Automatically Report Your Current Position
 


You can choose the time interval to report your position to server via GPRS / 3G, to protect yourself in the outdoor
environment. Even you can turn off the function, treat the mobile phone as just a mapping GPS receiver only.

   

Note : The software suite doesn't come with any Map source.

The Software suite server allows you to use the maps that you create from maps you have scanned or downloaded.
It will also create the set of map image files for the mpobile phone client.
   

Real Time Tracking (Moving Map)
 
Once Software suite server received position data, the data willl be processed and plotted on the map (your
desktop screen). The screen always move to the latest received position. You can selecct the certain tracked
person in information bar, the screen will move to the latest position of that person automatically.
   

Save Tracking Data
 


You can save certain tracked person's position data (Time, Latitude, Longitude, Altitude) into *.gpx format and
later use 3rd party software to analysis the data.
   

Abnormal stopping alert SMS
 


When the server receives the tracked person 's position data, it compares with that person 's past position data. If
the location of that person keeps as the same over a designated period, then the server will instruct its attached
mobile phone to send out alert SMS to the emergency contact person by AT commands via USB / Bluetooth connection.
   

Plot tracked people' positions on GoogleMaps
 


The server uploads those processed position information to the designated web server with the GoogleMaps service.
So, user can track those tracked people through internet (http conntection), instead of sit front of the server's
screen.
