Dr Tang obtained his BSc from the University
of Hong Kong in 1988, and
both MSc and PhD from the City University of Hong
Kong in 1992 and 1996, respectively. Prior to his doctorate programme
which was started in September 1993, he has worked in Hong
Kong industry for over five years. He is currently an Associate
Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering, City University of Hong
Kong. He is a member of Nonlinear Circuits and Systems (NCAS) Technical
Committee in IEEE CAS Society, IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Technical
Committee on Soft Computing. He was an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on
Circuits and Systems II from 1.2004-12.2005, and is now an associate editor of
Dynamics of Continuous, Discrete & Impulsive Systems, Series
B. He was also the Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE Circuits and Systems Society
in 2007-08.
