Nov 17, 2019: Final Report Submission
According to the special arrangement of CityU in the assessment of the course without the final exam, the final grade of EE5806 will be based on only two assignments, mid-term exam and the group project. In addition, the assessment of the group project is based only on the final report as well as the presentation PPT, source code and demo video (optional). Remind students that the deadline for submitting the final report is December 2, 2019 (Week 14). This is just a friendly reminder for submitting the Assignment 2. Students are required to submit their assignment report and program in electroic format as an attachment to EE5806 course gmail account at cityuee5806@gmail.com on or before 11.00pm of 11th Nov 2019. We just realized that our course gmail account has problems communicating with mainland email services such as qqmail and 163mail. Please avoid using these email addresses to submit your assignments or reports.
In this course, students will learn the basic principles and tools on how to create, alter and store digital images and video. Students will also learn how to apply digital image processing techniques on solving practical problems of commercial and scientific interests by implementing algorithms in Python.
