Dear FPT presenter, Thanks for your support of the FPT conference. Here is some information regarding the presentation format for both oral and poster presentations. Oral presentations: ------------------ The lecture theatre will have most commonly used facilities including a computer with powerpoint, LCD projector, overhead slides, slide project, VHS VCR, DVD/CD player etc. The preferred presentation format is using powerpoint, we suggest that you bring your slides on a floppy disk or CDROM or use your own notebook computer which can be plugged into the LCD projection system. You can also send them to me (cccheung@cse.cuhk.edu.hk) by email before 10th December and I will confirm receipt and transfer them to the presentation machine. We also suggest that you bring a set of transparency slides in case there is a problem reading your slides. Poster presentations: --------------------- Posters should fit within a 3x4 feet (width x height) area. Authors will be asked to pin their posters onto a supplied board before your poster session and take them down after the session. If you have any questions regarding presentations, please do not hesitate to contact us at fpt@icfpt.org. -- Best Regards, Ray Cheung, FPT'02 Technical Chair
