Fukuoka Airport to Kokura Station in Railway

From Fukuoka airport, you can use (1) shuttle buses for Kokura station or (2) a subway and "Japan Railway (JR)" trains for Kokura station which is very close to the Conference site. Use of the shuttle buses may be simple whereas it may take more time than (2) by 30 min.

(1) Shuttle Buses
    • Timetables
      You can get on the "Shuttle buses" at the international terminal and the domestic terminals. Check the timetables corresponding to your stops.
    • Fee: 1,000 Yen (one way)

(2) Subway and JR trains
Firstly, use SUBWAY from Fukuoka airport to Hakata Station.
The airport station of SUBWAY is in the domestic Terminal 2. If you arrive at an international Terminal, move to the domestic Terminal 2 using free "Airport bus" between international and domestic terminals.

Next, transfer to JR trains at Hakata station.
Buy a ticket from Hakata to Kokura.
There are two choices:


  • Sinkansen (Bullet train). Fast but more expensive than Limited express trains.

From Narita Airport to Fukuoka Airport
1. By Direct Flight from Narita to Fukuoka:
There are a few flight from Narita International Airport to Fukuoka Int. Airport.
2. By Limousine bus to Haneda Airport and domestic flight to Fukuoka Int. Airport:
There is limousine bus from Narita Airport to Haneda Airport. The bus runs every twenty minutes and it takes 75min. Narita to Haneda. There are many flights from Haneda to Fukuoka almost every thirty minutes.

From Kansai Int. Airport to Fukuoka Airport
1. By Direct Flight from Kansai Int. Airport to Fukuoka:
There are almost 10 flights from Kansai Int. Airport to Fukuoka Int. Airport
2. By Limousine bus to Itami Airport and domestic flight to Fukuoka Int. Airport:
There is limousine bus from Kansai Int. Airport to Itami Airport. The bus runs every 30 minutes and it takes 75min. There are many flights from Itami Airport to Fukuoka Airport.

From Kansai Int. Airport to Kokura Station

1. By Train/Limousine bus to Shin Osaka Station and Shinkansen to Kokura Station
It takes 50 min. from Kansai Int. Airport to Shin Osaka Station. From Shin Osaka Station to Kokura Station, we have Shinkansen Bullet Train and it takes 130min ~ 150min.
