Among these awards, Fellowship of IEEE is regarded internationally as the main benchmark in this discipline for professional society recognition. Six of the FIEEEs were elected after serving at CityU for over six years and they were recognized mainly for their work done at CityU. A staff profile of this level is comparable to any excellent departments in Hong Kong and overseas prestigious universities.
