Introduction

EE Principal Nomination Scheme is a way to form collaborations with High Schools in Hong Kong, and cultivate future young talents. The main objective of this new scheme launched in 2019 by the CityU EE department in Hong Kong, is to promote the importance of engineering study.

In this PNS Scheme, EE department will engage with the nominated F4 / F5 / F6 students from the school principals by providing mentorship, attending guest lecture by EE Faculty members, and gaining hands-on experience in Lab session, in order to develop CityU-EE Principal Nomination Scheme (PNS) community at High Schools.

The EE PNS Scheme includes the following Benefits for the students participated in this scheme. First, PNS will offer keynote Lecture offered by EE Faculty members in either Online mode and Face to Face Mode. Second, the high school students can gain hands-on experience in Lab session through a series of well designed lab exercise suitable for high school students. Third, students will be able to join EE lab visit including State-Key Laboratory visits guided with explanation by EE Professors. Finally, students will receive mentorship and further study advising through small group arranged by EE Professors, current EE students, and recent alumni.
