Word - Godly (敬虔)

• Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither - whatever they do prospers. (Psalms 1:1-3); 不 从 恶 人 的 计 谋 ， 不 站 罪 人 的 道 路 ， 不 坐 亵 慢 人 的 座 位 ， 惟 喜 爱 耶 和 华 的 律 法 ， 昼 夜 思 想 ， 这 人 便 为 有 福 ！ 他 要 像 一 棵 树 栽 在 溪 水 旁 ， 按 时 候 结 果 子 ， 叶 子 也 不 枯 乾 。 凡 他 所 做 的 尽 都 顺 利 。(詩篇 1:1-3)

• Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain? The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart; whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others; who despises a vile person but honors those who fear the LORD; who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and does not change their mind; who lends money to the poor without interest; who does not accept a bribe against the innocent. Whoever does these things will never be shaken. • Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. (Proverbs 16:3); 你 所 做 的 ， 要 交 托 耶 和 华 ， 你 所 谋 的 ， 就 必 成 立 。(箴言 16:3)

• Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won't you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it? For if you lay the foundation and are not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule you, saying, 'This person began to build and wasn't able to finish.' (Luke 14:28-30); 你 们 那 一 个 要 盖 一 座 楼 ， 不 先 坐 下 算 计 花 费 ， 能 盖 成 不 能 呢 ？ 恐 怕 安 了 地 基 ， 不 能 成 功 ， 看 见 的 人 都 笑 话 他 ， 说 ： 这 个 人 开 了 工 ， 却 不 能 完 工 。(路加福音 14:28-30)

• But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23); 圣 灵 所 结 的 果 子 ， 就 是 仁 爱 、 喜 乐 、 和 平 、 忍 耐 、 恩 慈 、 良 善 、 信 实 、 温 柔 、 节 制 。 这 样 的 事 没 有 律 法 禁 止 。(加拉太書 5:22-23)

• Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. (Eph. 5:15-16); 你 们 要 谨 慎 行 事 ， 不 要 像 愚 昧 人 ， 当 像 智 慧 人 。 要 爱 惜 光 阴 ， 因 为 现 今 的 世 代 邪 恶 。(以弗所書 5:15-16)

• Finally, my brothers and sisters, always think about what is true. Think about what is noble, right and pure. Think about what is lovely and worthy of respect. If anything is excellent or worthy of praise, think about those kinds of things. (Philippians 4:8); 最 后 ，弟 兄 姊 妹 ，你 们 要 思 想 一 切 真 实 、可 敬、公 义、纯 洁、可 爱、有 好 名 声 、有 美 德 和 值 得 赞 许 的 事 情。(腓立比書 4:8)

• I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people - for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. (1 Timothy 2:1-2); 我 劝 你 ， 第 一 要 为 万 人 恳 求 、 祷 告 、 代 求 、 祝 谢 ； 为 君 王 和 一 切 在 位 的 ， 也 该 如 此 ， 使 我 们 可 以 敬 虔 、 端 正 、 平 安 无 事 的 度 日 。(提摩太前書 2:1-2)

• Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life. (1 Timothy 6:17-19); 你 要 嘱 咐 那 些 今 世 富 足 的 人 ， 不 要 自 高 ， 也 不 要 倚 靠 无 定 的 钱 财 ； 只 要 倚 靠 那 厚 赐 百 物 给 我 们 享 受 的 神 。 又 要 嘱 咐 他 们 行 善 ， 在 好 事 上 富 足 ， 甘 心 施 舍 ， 乐 意 供 给 人 。(提摩太前書 6:17-19)

• If any of you need wisdom, you should ask God, and it will be given to you. God is generous and won't correct you for asking. (James 1:5); 你 们 中 间 若 有 缺 少 智 慧 的 ， 应 当 求 那 厚 赐 与 众 人 、 也 不 斥 责 人 的 神 ， 主 就 必 赐 给 他 。(雅各書 1:5)
