Prof Arindam Basu has been selected to receive the Young Alumni Achiever Award from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, in recognition of his remarkable achievements as a young alumnus who has shown promise and early success in his professional journey.
IIT Kharagpur is ranked 64th globally in the subject area of Engineering & Technology. The award is conferred by the Institute each year to alumni aged 45 or below to acknowledge their extraordinary accomplishments, outstanding achievements in their chosen field, and for distinguished community services, which in turn have created an impact and made their alma mater proud. The award will be presented to Prof Basu at the Institute’s Platinum Jubilee Foundation Day ceremony on 18 August 2026.
