Information for Prospective PhD Students

Positions are open for the PhD program at City University of Hong Kong. We are looking for highly motivated undergraduate or master’s graduates with an academic background in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Physics, Electromagnetic Fields and Waves, or related disciplines. Full-time scholarship opportunities are available at highly competitive rates:

• PhD studentships with a stipend of HK$19,100 per month (HK$19,600 after passing the Qualifying Examination; published 2025/26 rates). PORTAL: CityU Research Degree Programmes
