Scholarships for Application

A number of scholarships and awards are open for application. Students are encouraged to submit their applications to the Department for consideration. Most of the scholarships are competitive in nature. Some are designated to EE students, while others are open to CENG or CityU students.

To submit a scholarship application, a student should complete the application form together with the supporting documents as specified. A hardcopy of the completed documents needs to be submitted to the drop-in-box located next to the Department entrance (AC1 Green Zone, 6/F, Lift 7) before the deadline.

Note 4: There is normally an upper limit of HK$200,000 on the total amount of merit-based awards of the University, namely University scholarships and prizes, an undergraduate student may receive in an academic year. The guideline, aiming to enable more deserving students to benefit from the University resources, will apply to all local and non-local undergraduate and sub-degree students. However, scholarships designated for exchange activities, placements and course-required projects are excluded.
