Our ECE final year student, Mr CHING Hong Yan, and CE graduate 2013, Mr CHOI Chi Kuen Max, won the Certificate of Merit for Best Student Invention (College & Undergraduates) Award at Hong Kong ICT Awards 2014. The project, supervised by Prof Hong Yan and Dr Leanne Chan, is titled "Mobile Device and Cloud Server based Intelligent Health Monitoring Systems".
The Hong Kong ICT Awards have been established since 2006. It aims to recognize and promote outstanding ICT inventions and applications, thereby encouraging innovation and excellence among Hong Kong’s ICT talents and enterprises in their constant pursuit for creative and better solutions to meet business and social needs.
