Mr WONG Ming Chi, PhD student supervised by Prof Ray Cheung, has recently won the NEXX AI in Corporate Innovation and Transformation Awards 2025 (Start-up Division) for his start-up named GABES Limited - founded in Hong Kong in 2021 and supported by the Angel Fund from HK Tech 300 of CityUHK.
NEXX Innovation Alliance, the organizer of the Awards, is a non-profit organization established to catalyze innovation and technological advancement in Hong Kong, with the ultimate goal of elevating the city into a premier technology and innovation hub in Asia. The awards recognize organizations and companies for achievements in using artificial intelligence and innovation.
