太赫兹及毫米波国家重点实验室（香港城市大学伙伴实验室）所研发的第五代移动通信天线和阵列
将来临的第五代移动通信的关键特征之一是使用毫米波中的免授权频段。实验室在中央和香港特区政府的支持下联合珠江三角洲的企业以研发印刷电路板,LTCC和3D打印的毫米波天线及阵列。相关技术发明获授予2011年度国家技术发明奖（二等奖），而实验室成员陆贵文教授亦获得2017年IEEE APS约翰·克劳斯天线奖。实验室已开展更具前瞻性的天线研究，包括运行在1THz的天线阵列。
