Two EE teams, supervised by Dr K F Tsang, have been awarded the Champion and the First runner-up in IEEE IES Inaugural Inter-chapter Competition 2018.

The IES Inaugural Inter-chapter Competition 2018 – “Advances on Smart Cities” was organized by IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES) which aims at fostering advanced knowledge and awareness of Smart Cities projects and innovations. The competition also serves as a platform to nurture professionals and engineers to effectively apply and utilize the state-of-the-art technologies to improve quality of life.
