Gifted Education Fund

Generative AI and AIoT (GenAIoT) Coding Skills Education for Gifted Students

This programme teaches students knowledge related to AI, GenAI and AIoT technologies, and enhances their skills in engineering, mathematics and programming. It also covers ethics of using AI technology, and how to distinguish between real and fake contents.

Target: 50 students (Secondary 4-5)
Programme Delivery Period: May 2024 - Jan 2025
Application Deadline: 19 Apr 2024

Prof CHEN Jie has been elected a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) 2024 in recognition of his breakthroughs in fundamental limitations of feedback control, system identification, model validation, and delay systems. A total of twenty-six esteemed members were elected for the class and nominated for their outstanding research and service to the community. The crucial group of individuals will continue with contributing in advancing the fields of applied mathematics, computational science, and data science.
