Soft skills is considered much more important than ever in the workplace, so EE Department is going to organize a series of Soft Skills Workshop in Semester B 2018/19. To begin, Mr Ian Huang, Founder and CEO of Digital Transaction Limited, was invited to share with us what soft skills really mean to professionals in the real-world workplace in his talk titled “How Engineers Could Shape The Future”.

Mr Huang spent an evening time to share with us his successful and inspiring story on career development. He explained what and why the engineering thinking and skills are key for success, it is far more powerful than you imagine. Student also acquired the 3 key sensible tips for preparing oneself to shine in the workplace, namely engaging mentor, building the clique as well as look big and think big.
