Scholarships for Application (2023/2024)

Students are encouraged to apply for the scholarship(s) listed below with specified application methods:

1/Scholarship E-nomination system via AIMs:
To submit the application via the Scholarship E-nomination System, students should select "SFA Scholarship and Prize Nomination/Application" menu from "Student Services" via AIMS and upload the latest academic result and supporting documents as specified in (ONE pdf format) before the deadline. 

2/ Paper application to the EE drop-in-box:
To submit the application, a student should type the attached application form together with the latest academic result and the supporting documents as specified.  A hardcopy of the completed documents needs to be submitted to the drop-in-box located next to the Department entrance (AC1 Green Zone, 6/F, Lift 7) before the deadline.

The nomination process has to undergo different levels of review and selection at the Department and/or College and/or University, the final successful recipients will receive notifications from Student Development Services (SDS).

Note 2: Only full-time EE students are considered on this page unless otherwise specified.

Note 3: Previous recipients of a scholarship are normally not prohibited from applying for the same scholarship.

Note 4: There is normally an upper limit of HK$200,000 on the total amount of merit-based awards of the University, namely University scholarships and prizes, an undergraduate student may receive in an academic year. The guideline, aiming to enable more deserving students to benefit from the University resources, will apply to all local and non-local undergraduate and sub-degree students. However, scholarships designated for exchange activities, placements and course-required projects are excluded.
